Haven't got time to start a just back thread (although they were magnificent)
but have got time to give a huge well done to the Board for today's open Day an the previous initiatives to bring back the crowds. When was the last time we had 375 for a league game? That come son top of the other games, meaning we will end the season with our highest average gate for 9-10 seasons.
An great to see so many youngsters, with many in the iconic kit.
Lets hope the hundreds of new contacts that have been made will be persuade to attend again, and buy merchandise etc.
once again , thank you and congratulations on your hard work and new ideas, it was a great day all round.
Standing ovation from me to you!

Couldn’t agree more, the club nailed it today.
It’s been a bit of a struggle the last two seasons but there’s been so many lessons learnt that we can take into the summer and next season in a positive manner.

Can only echo these sentiments. Dragged the whole family along today and my overriding feeling was 'look how big this club could be'.
Sadly that was tempered with the frustration that we can't have a home of our own, if we could just sort they then I'm sure Aylesbury United can be huge!
A great day all around.

What an amazing afternoon at the Meadow!
After hearing yesterday's news about Real Bedford, the soon-to-be SLCD1 side, receiving a 4.5 million investment, one might have felt a bit disheartened going into another underdog match against a top-of-the-table team.
But you know what? I wouldn't trade a single penny of that for the passionate fans, dedicated board members, hardworking volunteers, and the exceptional efforts of players like Woody, Bewley, and Lynn on the field.
What a club! Here's hoping we'll get to see more of our familiar faces that attended this afternoon next season.
Come on you Ducks! 🦆🟢

Have to say that after being critical of the inner circle , yesterday was spot on so hats off to them , of this occasion . Highlight for me was seeing so many <20 year olds in attendance what a change to see some youth rather than boring old farts like me .

Yes a very enjoyable day looked like everyone in attendance had something to cheer. Would like to thank the board for all their hard work and also the players who ran their socks off against a team that were 2nd in the table.Well done to all concerned.

What everyone else said
Easy to forget that the board are volunteers who give up a lot of time and / or money to do a thousand things behind the scene just to get a match on, let alone trying to drive the club forward. They do this out of love for the club and am sure they would welcome additional helpers on match day to share the load
