Couldn’t make it today but another great 3 points to secure our status.
Tuttle has done a great job in making us hard to beat and everything surrounding the team just feels calm and confident now. Hopefully the senior players and promising youngsters stick around and we are able to add a bit more depth and quality (although this will always be a challenge with our budget)
Hope Thame get to stay up, would be very harsh to go down with so many points

Good performance today and we never really looked like conceding. Could have easily been 2/3-0 and wouldn’t have been unfair on Biggleswade. League table was kind to us on the final day and actually finished 5th from bottom and above North Leigh (who would have called that at Christmas?!). Huge credit to the players and managerial team 🟢🦆

A great end to a great second half of the season under Super David Tuttle. Hope he gets announced soon.
Well done and thank you to everyone who keeps this great club going.

Hope he gets announced soon. Yes important point this. Officially he is still interim manager, so it would be good to get some clarity quickly so the manager can start planning for next season. As for today's game, very good again. Rarely looked in doubt after we scored, don't think Callan had a save to make even during the heavy pressure in the final minutes. On the squad, there are the foundations of a good team here, and would like to see them all back. And a couple of outstanding youngsters too - I really hope we can keep hold of Hayden and Brayden especially.

Yep have to agree with comments , congrats to squad and management for securing safety . Tuttle and Co would be my preference too and given the goal of 'achieving safety and the job is yours' his appointment should be a formality.

A huge well done and thank you to all the players, management and board who not only today but every week put so much effort in and nice to see the rewards today, I really hope the guys don't mess about and instead appoint tuttle now then work some magic to keep braydon, haydon and Jack Wood and definitely Callan as prob in top 3 keepers in the league. All we need now is good news about a return to aylesbury 😃

from what I've been told today Hamza, the coach is a major plus, and him n Tuttle need to be kept. Tuttle has said, that if he kept us up, it's his job to turn down. And given he's the chairman's friend I really hope they continue. Was very enjoyable to watch today. Always in control and some really good football played; we have so much pace it frightens other teams. Felt so sorry for Ken; he does so much good work, he just needs a goal.
Overall an excellent team performance again. Nobody shone, but nobody excelled, maybe Woody as he seemed to be in the right place at the right time throughout the 90 mins?
PS another crowd of 200+ with loads of youngsters in attendance, presumably as a spin off of the excellent Open Day. Gives us a real base to work from, especially with such an exciting performance to finish with. Could be a real springboard.
just got to wait to the FA cup Prelim round on3 August to see if this positivity can continue
PPS final big thanks to the management players and Board for giving us such a positive finish to what, I think we can all agree, has been a very challenging season

The club surviving another season at this level is great for the fans. From a personal perspective it’s been difficult knowing that I’m better than the players in front of me but not getting minutes I deserved. I’ve seen a lot of negative comments on this forum during the season. As fans you only see things from the outside and make your opinions on what you see and what players tell you. Sometimes players only give one side of a story, usually the side that benefits them. I can honestly say I didn’t really get on that well with either manager because I felt I deserved more minutes, but the fact that this manager got us safe with the crap that has been going on behind the scenes is a miracle. They took a team that is someone else’s players who are unfit. They complained that training was to stop start before and wanted to play more football. Training is changed to suit them and they go and complain to the board that training is rubbish. This has been the worst changing room I ever experienced. It was so quiet, there are little clicks, players criticising management and players behind their backs, players having secret meetings with the board about the management, players saying things about the management but when given the chance to speak in the group openly and honestly not saying anything. These things went on before the current management the changing room is toxic. You see it in the warmup when certain players go off in their little groups instead of being in a group doing a rondo with the rest. It’s the same 4 or 5 players, they do what they want. There has been more togetherness now than there was earlier in the season but it’s still not right. I’ve been on the pitch where certain players have made mistakes and nothing is said but other players make a mistake and they get ripped into. There are players who say that a player was at fault for a goal, or certain players are not fit enough or shouldn’t be playing. But when asked what went wrong they say nothing because the player is part of their click. A lot of the players know and will admit secretly that there are certain players who are not fit enough or there are better players than them in their position who should be playing in front of them. The manager has played the better player and certain players have blamed that player for goals or not picking up a player even though it wasn’t their player. There are players in the team who have not passed to certain players because they want there mate to be playing instead, or because it’s a player the manager has brought in. There have been games when the manager asked us to play a certain way like early balls into chanels when we’re on the pitch players have a go because you do what the manager asked. At half time the manager asked why we hadn’t done it when we had we got some success. He asked us to do it more in the 2nd half. After he left the changing room one of the senior players told everyone that we don’t play long balls we play football, we should continue to play out from the back and do what we want to do. There was another game where we were asked to play a certain way, everyone had been given their roles. On the pitch 2 senior players told me and another player to do something different to what we were asked to do by the manager. I have heard players talk about not doing what they’ve been asked because they want the manager out, I have heard players talk about getting a manager in they like. I’ve heard players saying if they get put on the bench they’re going to tell the manager he doesn’t know what he’s doing, when management speaks to them privately they come back saying management didn’t let them say anything, which we all knew was a lie. I know when I haven’t started a game I’ve always been spoken to by management to explain why. I don’t always agree but appreciate honesty. There is no player accountability, ownership or honesty. There have been so many lies going around about this management team, a lot of which has been done by certain players. My advice is don’t listen to the rumours, look and you will see the truth. I wish Aylesbury United all the best for the future. The fans deserve it.

Hamza, as an actual player, that’s simply not true is it… your training is awful and it’s clearly upset you that is was raised when asked. We know how this season has gone, we’re aware of the issues but the main thing is we pulled together at a difficult time and took ownership of the poor results. The stories you’ve told are too close to the bone for it not to be you, because the board asked us how things were and we rightly said AWFUL, no information, training probably the worst I’ve ever seen, but you can blame everyone else, seems to be a continuous culture at this club. Best of luck to you and Tuttle though, the board wanted a yes man and you two suit the bill well, can say for sure most of us won’t be around.

Now season has finished I feel the time is right to post again. I make a prediction 3 men on the way in for next season! I urge the board don't make the same mistakes you madee last season. Own your mistakes and return unity before it's to late!

Well done to the management team and players on staying up, I’m looking forward to next season already now.
The comments that have been made for the love of god, we’ve just stayed up had a good result move on and stop talking about it.
I’m sure in every club not everyone likes everything but for a player/ manager/ ex player/ ex manager / coach / ex coach to come out and say that without putting there real name out is just pathetic.
Let’s just leave it and I hope you feel happy with your comment “new members”
See you all next season
