I really enjoyed that last night.
The lads stood up to the physical challenge that Flackwell offered and played some decent stuff either side of half time, before digging in and defending resolutely towards the end.
Fantastic strike from Ben. Absolute rocket through a crowd of players. Had a nice view of it where I was standing behind the goal!
Flackwell are no mugs, decent win.
That's the first game I've seen since the Thame cup game. We fell away somewhat in that match in the second half, but we looked fit and powerful last night.
Well done to all involved.

That was an outstanding performance last night. Flackwell are a solid team and they started strong, playing quick, two or three-touch football and spreading the ball all over the field. We responded well, turning the game into a more physical battle. We created the two best chances of the match and managed to score from one of them.
Everyone played brilliantly but special mention goes to Jake and Woody in defence, as well as Stallard in midfield—they had exceptional games. I lost track of how many tackles, clearances and headers they made.
Kudos to the management team as well. DT has made us incredibly tough to break down, with us being one of only two teams from step 1-4 that hasn't conceded a league goal!
COYD!

Definitely the best performance I've seen so far. Flackwell were a good team and we were really disciplined and ground out the win.

all sounds very encouraging. Being a pessimist I'm really glad to see an 11 or 12 point gap over the 7 bottom feeders!

Our next three league games are entirely winnable as well. What a time to be alive! We need to go into those games in the same mindset as we did last night.
