Don't really know how to find praise for this game,Hoppy another clean sheet and saved a penalty in the shootout and Jack Wood was solid at the back, the tea bar did a nice sausage roll and the pitch was nice, the rest was pretty shocking. Wroxham looked like a pub team and there league table position is very clear and doesn't lie and for the first half we passed the ball around nicely but everytime we got to there box nobody knew what to do,there keeper didn't even have a save to make in entire 90mins and the nearest shot at goal hit a car in the carpark, Was clear the manager is very focused on the team being organised and remain focused for the entirety of games and much improved from previous managers but sadly looked absolutely clueless and so weak going forward. But top of the league so best not to dwell on this game for long and hopefully the lads can forget this performance and focus on the league and build on there great start

Hard to disagree with any of the above. An extremely frustrating 90 mins with no end product or ruthlessness in the final third.
Hashii missing was a blow and he was missed. Defensively we were sound but as much down to the equally inept Wroxham attack.
Though this competition is never beneficial to us this felt like an opportunity missed to at least progress one further round. Shame the performance was as flat given the good Ducks contingent in attendance.
Am slightly troubled by the limited substitute options given we have players signed up and apparently attending training but not getting in the match day squads.
A disappointing day, need to put right next Saturday.

We simply didn’t do enough to win that game. A stronger team would have finished us off well before the penalties. The only real positive was Kwai who showed the desire to make things happen.
I feel for Hoppy—he saved one penalty and almost reached their last. But you can't miss two penalties and expect to win a shootout.
I just hope Hashii truly had a personal engagement and wasn’t just trying to avoid being cup-tied. It would be a long season without him…
On the bright side, Wroxham were excellent hosts. Their pitch is one of the best we’ll play on this season and they even had their own branded beer on offer. That’s the dream!

I think in the bigger picture & if we are going to be honest, yes we missed hashii today but we was also missing Tuttle kian will (not in midfield) peters I honestly believe these boys make a huge difference.
I think we can all establish our best back 4 is Liam woody bewley Charley, this has been the back 4 that has built a strong connection. Jake is a club legend but after today you can see he doesn’t have the legs to play left back now and the back 4 seemed all over the place today
Will played well at CB today but taking him out of midfield we missed the legs that he has provided all season. Understood he had to play there due to kian being injured as well as Charley suspended
Other than that it just wasn’t our day at the office and we move on, would have been very nice to go through but I would have taken this league start over going through to be honest with you
Like an above comment the manager has the boys well drilled & you can see the atmosphere has dramatically improved in the squad now
Not too down about tonight, I believe the boys will bounce back, hopefully Hashii and kian are back next week and we just have to wait for Tuttle until October
Massive well done to the fans who made the trip too

Yesterday was certainly a game that could have been wrapped up in 90 minutes but unfortunately it wasn’t.
Only constructive criticism I can levy is that I would like to see more players hit the box when we get the ball wide in attacking positions.
Positives from yesterday include another clean sheet over 90 minutes, the continued improvement of Ben Stallard (forget the penalty in the shoot out Ben, not worth the energy worrying out), Will’s performance at centre half, Luqman getting more minutes under his belt and Kwai looking as good as he has for us. Haziz was my MOTM and we look so much better with him in the team. Really hope we see more of him moving forward.
Having been on the coach with the players yesterday I can see a good team spirit developing with a good mix of youth and experience. The management are also settling into their roles more and are always looking to tinker with and improve the squad. Sure the FA competitions have been a bit of a write off this season but I think overall we’re moving in a positive direction. Saturday is an opportunity to continue moving in that direction and I think the players will be up and ready for it.
Finally, the travelling support yesterday was excellent and was complimented by a good sized home crowd as well. There’s plenty of love for and interest in our football club and long may that continue.
